We started the day with a lecture on “Moreška” in front of the Town Hall. Marija Hajdić, the director of the Town Museum, told us many interesting things about the traditional sword dance which has been preserved to the present day only in Korčula. We visited a museum dedicated to “Moreška” which is located in the Revelin tower. At the top of the tower, the beautiful view of the whole town was a front of us.

In the library, TV-Nova team was waiting for us. They were interested in the Library. I love it! project and all partners have given interviews.

This was a day for the media: Press Meeting on Radio Korčula was also organized. The recording of the radio show we have shared via Dropbox.

Dear partners, you can listen to the entire recording there!! https://dl-.dropbox.com/get/Library.%20I%20love%20it%21/LIBRARY%20GOSTI%2025.09.14.mp3?_subject_uid=213819271&w=AAAm_9LpDqX6lqpAs6bZW0iluXTxJJylGmPDRJOHJCuN1A

We visited the House-Museum of Family Marinovic, which was a short introduction to the style of living in the past in Korčula.  Then, we made a cruising tour of the Korčula Archipelago: we passed by the Franciscan Monastery on Badija Isle, we stopped on Stupe Isle and had lunch there, some of us were swimming, on Vrnik Isle we visited Old Quarries and studio of the Academic Sculptor Lujo Lozica. See: http://www.tz-lumbarda.hr/en/about-lumbarda/history-culture/ ; http://www.korcula.net/history/lujo/lujo.htm

This was a great experience!

In the evening a workshop was organized in the library – Crafting of souvenirs relating to Moreška. At the end we had very nice and creative bags with different scenes from the sword dance “Moreška”.  We had also the meeting with the association KO žena.  The theme was “Equality for women in Europe”. Partners have given interviews  about the position of women in their countries.
